Community Plan FAQ

What is the Community plan?

A subscription service that provides community members access to our premium software products at a deeply discounted rate of $49 per month or $499 per year.

Who is it for?

Individuals and businesses with less than USD $500,000 in annual revenue or total funds raised. 

Which products does it include?

Community plan subscribers will have access to the following products and features:

  • Cloud app delivery with Appflow 
    • Native builds
    • App publishing
    • Web previews

Which products are NOT included?

Advanced Appflow features like Live Updates, Automations, and CI/CD integration via the Cloud CLI are not included in the plan. In addition, Community plan subscribers will not have access to Support, with the exception of account and billing related questions. All product support inquiries will instead be directed to Ionic Forum. 

At the moment, native solutions like Identity Vault and Auth Connect are NOT included in the Community plan. However, we hope to add these soon.

Why are we offering the Community plan?

The primary motivation for offering the Community plan is that we want to give back to the community, and enable them to enjoy and benefit from the full range of products that we offer. 

Until now, many of our premium products have been limited to a very small percentage of the Ionic community—specifically those working on budgeted projects in large businesses. That left out thousands of students, entrepreneurs, hobbyists, and other developers from around the world who otherwise benefit from our solutions.

By introducing the Community plan, we will soon be giving ALL Ionic community members a chance to enjoy our products and boost their app development.
